Our Collaboration with ICAR-CIBA
Diagnomics (OPC) Private Limited is a biotechnological company collaborated with Agri-Business Incubation (ABI) facility of ICAR-CIBA, Chennai on 19th October 2022. The diagnostic laboratory helps in providing nested PCR, real time PCR kits for detection of White spot syndrome virus (WSSV) and Enterocytozoon hepatopenaei (EHP) by using technology developed at ICAR-CIBA, Chennai. The laboratory has planned to provide diagnostic service by collecting samples from farm sites and hatcheries and the tests will be done following the methodologies developed by ICAR-CIBA providing accurate and timely results to the farmers.
The company will also be manufacturing the WSSV and EHP diagnostic kits developed by the institute and supply to shrimp disease diagnostic laboratories. Our organisations are driven by quality, reliability and confidentiality. We ultimately contribute to the sustainable development of the global shrimp aquaculture industry.

Launch of our new Multiplex Real-Time PCR Kit for Vibrios
We are delighted to announce the launch of our Multiplex Real-Time PCR Kit for Vibrio harveyi and Vibrio campbellii Diagnostic Kit at the Academia-Industry-Government Meet, held at the NASC Complex, New Delhi, as part of the 14th Asian Fisheries and Aquaculture Forum (AFAF).
The kit was officially launched by our esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. B. Mastan Rao, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, in the presence of:

Developed by ICAR-CIBA, this advanced diagnostic technology has been successfully transformed into a commercial product, thanks to the Dr. P. K. Patil Principal Scientist and Dr. Sujeet, Scientist for the development and commercialization of the kit.
